	Don't like EU...fine, allow those of us who do to present it in discussions (where it applies to the movies) and all you have to do is say "I don't see it that way"...not "EU sucks While saying the "EU sucks" may not be the most intelligent thing to say, I still don't see why it's ok to senselessly bash the movies with similar comments. I can't even count how many EUDF members have bashed the idea of General Grevious and used quite derogatory terms to display their distaste for the character, yet a similar comment directed toward an equally ludicrous idea presented in the EU would no doubt bring the EUDF battle call. Where is the equality? Where is the balance? Why is movie bashing tolerated, yet EU bashing is not? I'm not saying to blatantly bash the EU, but let's be real here, fair is fair. 	That is why I don't think explanationless (is that a word?) bashing of the films should be allowed. Constructive bashing is one thing ("I don't like this aspect of the film because ______"), but saying you don't like something and not even explaining why ("The prequels suck anyway, so _________") are different. If someone can constructively share an opinion on why they don't like something about the EU (Note: this does not include discussions over its canonosity) than I don't have a problem with them, however I will discuss viewpoints with them. If someone just says "EU suxx0rz" then I will get angry. Same way with the movies. -----signature----- I steal candy from babies to prevent childhood obesity.

	Never have understood why any "bashing" is allowed on a fan site. Why it's allowed to "bash" this, but it's not allowed to "bash" that. Why it's allowed to "bash" anything STAR WARS/anyone officially involved with anything STAR WARS. Why it's allowed to bash anything STAR WARS/anyone officially involved with anything STAR WARS, but it's not allowed to "bash" those doing the "bashing". I also don't understand why any "bashing" is not only allowed, but also somewhat supported and somewhat promoted. But hey, the "bashing" is not a reflection on we fans who do not "bash". 	I dunno, basically I just think it's silly that I can freely say "I think Anakin is the stupidest thing to ever happen to SW." But by merely changing one aspect of the sentence like this: I think Mara Jade is the stupidest thing to ever happen to SW, I am now a ignorant purist basher. It makes no sense what so ever. Bashing is bashing. But bashing the movies and movie characters senselessly is tolerated for some reason, whereas bashing the EU and EU characters is not. I dunno even what I'm getting at. Part of me thinks all bashing should be banned, but the other part says freedom of speech should rule. But regardless of which idea you believe, one thing is certain. 	I think Anakin is the stupidest thing to ever happen to SW. Wow, I think that could definitely be construed as inappropriate as well. I know I've closed a few threads like "Luke sucks!", "Vader sucks!", etc. (I'm thinking now of one particular thread to that effect that was unpleasant for everyone involved, especially me, because someone had taken it upon themselves to harass people who come to the JC to have fun ). I'm not referring to criticizing with respect to those who created what it is that is being criticized and to those who are fans of what it is that is being criticized. 	I really think that users need to be informed when they receive a strike. I got my third strike recently, and I thought I only had one.
