	I think the teaser trailer for ESB has to tell us that the bad guys are going to be chasing Luke, and that Vader is after him and wants to turn him. It'd be cool for it to start with the Emperor's message to Vader: (Hologram chamber on the Executor. Palpatine comes into view) Palpatine: There is a great disturbance in the Force. (shot of Luke looking out at the sunset in ANH) Palpatine (Voice Over): We have a new enemy. The young rebel who destroyed the Death Star. (Luke firing the torpedoes into the Death Star) Palpatine (V.O): I have no doubts that this boy is the offspring of Anakin Skywalker. (Luke igniting his lightsaber in Ben's hut in ANH) (Back to the hologram chamber) Palpatine: He could destroy us. Vader: (V.O)He's just a boy. Obi-Wan can no longer help him. (Luke lying in the snow, looking at Ben's ghost) Obi-Wan: Luke ... you will learn from Yoda, the Jedi Master, who instructed me. (Hologram chamber) Palpatine: The son of Skywalker must not become a Jedi. (Luke in Yoda's hut) Luke: I won't fail you! I'm not afraid! Yoda: Yeh. You will be ... Vader: (V.O) If he could be turned, he would become a powerful ally. (Luke with Yoda in his backpack) Luke: Is the Dark Side stronger? Yoda: No ... no. Quicker, easier, more seductive. Luke: But how am I to know the good side from the bad? (Hologram chamber) Palpatine: Can it be done? Vader: He will join us or die, my master. (Fades to black for a few moments, then fades up again) (Carbon freezing chamber - Luke approaches Vader at the top of the steps. They both ignite their lightsabers, and they clash) STAR WARS: Episode V - THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK COMING SOON That's just a teaser - obviously, a full trailer would have more on the story, a lot more action, more of Han and Leia, etc. PS- yep, it'd be the wonderful Ian McDiarmid's Emperor from the DVD.

	A 'teaser' should show snipets from a wide variety of scenes while revealing as little about the plot as possible. As an predominately action-oriented movie, ESB needs to convey that action, something that Vader and Sidious talking to each other simply fails to convey. An ESB teaser, as I envision it, would be as follows: Force theme comes in as Lucasfilm logo fades Shots of baby Luke from Ep 3 (assuming of course there are any) Various shots of Luke from ANH. The last shot is of him after he recieves his medal at the end of the movie. The screen then fades black and the music fades. Sidious VO: There is a great disturbance in the Force. Shot of Luke w Lightsaber in the Dark-Side Cave on Degobah Sidious VO: The Son of Skywalker must become a Jedi! A fast-paced John Williams score comes in as shots of the movie pass in rapid succession. Limited sound effects can be heard Important shots include: -Battle of Hoth* -Asteroid Field -Panorama of Cloud City -Yoda -Vader's Meditation Chamber -Exterior Shot of SSD Executor -Luke in Bacta Tank -Slave 1 -Bits of the Luke/Vader duel Screen goes black and music stops abruptly. Then Vader's breathing comes in Vader VO: The Force is strong with you, young Skywalker... scene changes to Carbonite chamber Vader: ...but you are not a Jedi yet! shows a closeup of Luke. Then cuts to a shot of Luke and Vader's lightsabers clashing. Bright flash to movie title -----signature----- Opening Match: Anakin vs Dooku Tag-Team Match: Anakin/Palpatine vs Mace/another Jedi Hardcore Match: Grevious vs Obi-wan Title Fight: Sidious vs Yoda Main Event: Anakin vs Obi-wan...IN A VOLCANO!!

	I like all the ESB ideas but since this is assuming 1-3 have come out, I think it would be really cool to end the trailers with Vader (V.O. with Episode V logo on screen): "Obi-wan never told you what happened to your father." Then it ends. 	Kaydon_Sentry- I love the trailers. They rock and make me excited as if I'd never seen Episode IV before, although I've seen it countless times. I prefer these trailers to other fan trailers, which take low quality footage from Episode III and try to create their own backgrounds and special effects. They just don't look right. I actually plan on making a couple trailers also and have an idea for an Episode III trailer using little or no footage from the film, depends on what's available in the upcoming teaser, but using Classic Trilogy footage instead. I can't actually start on this project until after Thanksgiving, however, because that's when I'll be able to obtain capturing software. I already have Premiere and much experience with that program. I do have two questions though. Do you have any plans for trailers for the other 5 films? How did you dial down the music? Did you just fade it low in between each line of dialogue or use a program to seperate the tracks? If so, which one? Thanks. Awesome job and keep them coming.
