	this is just an admiration to to sir Alec Guiness (i am sure i am messing up his last name) just to say that he is an incrediable actor and purley leads many scenes in anh.

	He is indeed a very good actor, not just for his role as Obi Wan either. 	I think both actors have done an excellent job as Obi-Wan. It's a pity most people will only remember Alec Guiness as Obi-Wan. Hopefully the same won't happen to Ewan. 	Sir Alec Guinness is one of the best character actors of all time. And indeed, people should see his non-SW work as well. He will definitely be remembered for Bridge on the River Kwai, at least. I have 5 or 6 of his non-SW films, and I want as many more as I can get. Kind Hearts and Coronets is particularly amusing and a great showcase of his range. 	Guiness was a wonderful actor. Films like "The Man in the White Suit", "The Lavendar Hill Mob", "The Horse's Mouth", "Tunes of Glory", "The Ladykillers", "Little Dorrit", "Great Expectations", and the aforementioned "Bridge on the River Kwai", and "Kind Hearts and Coronets" are all classic films. Yes, he was superb as Obi-Wan, but he had a great and distinguished body of work long before Lucas' space-opera came to fruition. I think that perhaps Alec Guiness was a tad cranky in his day, so that may have in part colored his additude towards the "Star Wars" films. In addition, Guiness was probably tired of the unwanted attention that his involvement in "Star Wars" brought, as well as the fact that people would tend to overlook his other career achievements, which, as stated, were quite numerous. However, given the reported millions that Guiness ended up making off of "Star Wars" (as a result of having taken a 'back-end' deal which entitled him to a small percentage of the film's net gross), I seriously doubt that Sir Alec resented his involvement in the saga. -----signature----- "The screen is a magic medium. 	Personally, I don't judge an actor's personality until I have met them. 	For continuity, I want LucasFilm to change Alec Guinness' scenes in ESB and ROTJ to Ewan McGregor. If Anakin's ghost would be a 25 year-old whom Luke had never even seen in person (who looks like he's been dragged to a party he doesn't want to be at), then surely Obi Wan would come back as a young man, right? 	Dude, you're just OLD FASHIONED, you can't deal with change, even when it's GOOD change. Ewan should DEFINITELY replace Alec Guinness, no doubt. And I'm certain that George Lucas knows this and he'll do it the next time the DVD's are released. If you don't like it, TOUGH. They're not your movies, they're George Lucas's. And if he wants to send government agents into your house to confiscate the old DVD's with frail old Alec Guinness, then he has the right to do that, and he SHOULD do that.
