	I support Hayden in it but not McGreggor. It would make no sense for McGreggor. I mean he never turned to the dark side! Plus the explantion for Hayden Ghost in ROTS doesn't apply to Obi-Wan as well! 	Alec guiness by far sgould never be replaced. An old saying goes that "never change a good thing". so in my opinion the ghost still and always will remain sir alec guiness.

	Why would you need Ewan as Obi Wan's ghost? o_0 There's a symbolism in Anakin's character showing up at the end, a wholeness and balance of spirit that he never had before. Obi Wan always had it, so it makes sense that he would show up as how he had died. And Mr. Guiness is awesome. Seeing him in Star Wars has really sparked my desire to watch some of his other works. He has a grace and style to him that most of rest of the Star Wars cast doesn't come close to matching. Though Ewan is doing a fine job as a younger Obi Wan, and I adore him too. -----signature----- Part of the Darth Vader Fanclub. Because good is dumb. 	25 year old Anakin is a ghost, because that was when Anakin 'died'. If you look at it from that POV. The ghost appears as you were at the time of your death. Obi-Wan was old when he was killed so his ghost is also old. Anakin became Vader, and in a way killed himself in his 20s, so his ghost is 20 something years old. Alec Guiness was one of the great actors of our time. 	You guys just can't handle the truth. The only logical explanation for Anakin's ghost to be in ROTJ is that Jedi's return in their youthful form. If you say that his ghost was the young version because that was the last time that he was a good Jedi, then you're saying that Darth Vader never redeemed himself. You just can't deal with the truth....Lucas made a mistake putting Alec Guinness in ESB and ROTJ, and now the digital revolution has given him the freedom to fix that mistake, and I've heard that he will. (Ewan is reportedly doing the shoot in London to coincide with ROTS re-shoots). The people who liked watching Alec Guinness are WRONG to have liked it, and Lucas should fix it and destroy every one of the OLD, OUTDATED versions. The original trilogy must be manipulated to conform to the new trilogy, and that is absolute and without exception. 	Darth-Seldon - The issue is not being 'debated'. A certain user was being sarcastic and condescending towards people who enjoy the prequels, and to those who think that the insertion of Hayden in "Jedi" was a good idea. This isn't new for the user in question. He went over the line with baiting remarks and I felt the need to post something. 	lol i second that, and after all i started this thread. This was not a thread based in bickering of ewan or hayden about who should be the ghost of the two jedis. this was a mere admiration to that of alec guiness and what many thought of him. I commend the people who did that. Thanks

	Seeing him in Star Wars has really sparked my desire to watch some of his other works. Hooray! I suggest anyone interested in some of Sir Alec's other work check out this month's Alec Guinness schedule. There are quite a few of his films being shown in late December and January, especially on TCM.
