	Why is it so hard for Lucas to release BOTH versions? Not only does he make more money, but he ends all this arguement and division. 	i said it before. and i will say it again. alec guinness is a great actor. he managed to pull off obi-wan like no one really could. and no doubt about it, lucas chose the right person to play a younger obi-wan. but it is a wonder on what alec thought of ewan. i heard though alec didn't really like doing the movie. the whole chessy-lines or something. i forget. but, either way, i think he pulled it off well. obi-wan was always my favorite character--in the OT and the prequels. may the force be with you always. -----signature----- {[==]\|~\|[====]\|[==]@[~~~]>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ;>>>>>>>>>>> "So, the Clone Wars has destroyed everything. 	I'm not that well versed in the late Alec Guiness. I just watched Bridge on the River Kwai for the first time the other day and I enjoyed it thoroughtly. Of course, other then that, the trilogy, and this black and white movie where he played (an all-too-convincing) Hitler; I've not seem another movie with Alec in it. Just never got around to it. And yet, I admit the man had presence for his day. I'll admit I've been so acustomed to Alec in his post Ep4 persona that its hard for me NOT to see anything with Alec in it and compare it to his Obi-Wan persona. I don't think Alec would have liked me. Halfway into Bridge on the River Kwai, and I'm already imagining a Star Wars perspective! Okay, a group of Jedi taken prisoner by the Empire are forced to build a bridge. Sadly, Obi-Wan refuses and gets put in carbonite for a week as punishment by Tarkin... Meanwhile, the American Han Solo escapes and returns with a young Canadian boy named Anakin to blow up the bridge before Tarkin can bring his AT-AT's across... --------------------------------------- Obi-Wan; sabers Han "You?!" Han; "-You..." dies Anakin; sabers Tarkin Obi-Wan; "What are you doing?!" Anakin; "Commandos sir! We're here to blow the bridge!" Obi-Wan; regarding the crossing AT-AT's "What have I done?..." -----signature----- Palpatine; "Execute General Order 66......Okay, that takes care of Plo Koon. How many left?" Mas Ameda; "24,345 your highness. I believe Jo Casta Nu is next..." Palpatine; "I should have used e-mail.....Commander Ramjet. Execute General Order 66...."

	A million thanks to AdamBertocci. Alec Guiness must love you. I can't think of any actor which rivals Alec's ablity.
