	Does any of you think there will even be a 2007 release? You don't actually think Lucas would not release anything for the 30th aniversery do you? He re-released them for the 20th aniversery and probably for the 10th (I don't remember the 10th aniversery, I was 1 at the time. He'll do it again this time. All star wars fans at least should know 2007 will be the aniversery. I would be shocked if Lucas did nothing. There's my 2 cents. EV Edit: Your 2 cents just cost you 24 hours. NO EP3 SPOILERS! 	Anakin appears as he did when he died a Jedi. Just because he made a presto-chango death bed repentance doesn't make him a Jedi again. [cough]The movie's called Return of the Jedi[/cough] ...o.k., I don't know about you but I've always primarily associated the "Return" part of the title to imply that Luke has matured as a Jedi thus "returning" an element of the Jedi Order to the galaxy. Anyhoo, no matter. Shaw looks fine, and it's kinda feaky how you do feel sorry for this poor, scarred, fat head. Hayden there wouldn't improve anything, then again - maybe GL could shrink Hayden's head and cover up little Jake in TPM...=) That's really, really bad... -----signature----- Palpatine toyed with Windu.

	...o.k., I don't know about you but I've always primarily associated the "Return" part of the title to imply that Luke has matured as a Jedi thus "returning" an element of the Jedi Order to the galaxy. There are many possible meanings to the title, one of which must involve the redemption of Anakin if this story is to have any emotional resonance. This is a man who made some bad choices, but came full circle at the end of his life to fulfil his destiny & and destroy the Dark Side. The implication has to be that at the time of Anakin's death, he was once more a Jedi - otherwise what is the point of the redemption theme? -----signature----- "There will only be one (Special Edition).....it'll be the final cut. 	In fact, one might say that when he died, Anakin was more Jedi than he'd ever been before. He didn't care about being a cool hero anymore(like he did in his youth). There was no arrogance in him. All he cared about was that he had done the right thing, out of love. Anakin Skywalker is now a true Jedi /LM

	Regarding a scene with Vader and the Emperor at the end of ANH, maybe there could be a line that mirrors Palpatine's line in TPM, "We will watch your career with great interest," but instead, "We will watch him [meaning Luke] with great interest,"?

	Maybe there will be an exchange between Tyranus and Sidious in Episode III where they talk about turning Anakin, and then, the Vader-Sidious scene in Episode IV could have a similar talk about turning Luke, and Vader won't know that he is about to be replaced, as he once replaced somebody himself.

	Could the reason be why the lightsabers weren't fixed in the dvds,is because they are going to redue all of the duels to make them more intense like the PT ones for the saga edition? -----signature----- ROTJ:Make all the ewoks CGI,make them ferocious like wolverines,agile like monkeys,have them climb trees,make them move fast,have them jump out of the trees and land on the stormtroopers,have there be thousands of them,Make stormtroopers have camo armor.

	Interesting theory. I don't think so, though. It's possible that they'll add something to the ANH duel, but I think they'll leave'em pretty much the way they are. I think the reason is that they didn't have the time to do it for this release. Or, they just don't care. Lucas is difficult to predict /LM

	I want a scratchy, dirty, textured, shaded, visually interesting print, with all the energy of the original releases. I don't want a "cleaned up" and "brighter" STAR WARS that only serves to make every flaw and failing excruciatingly visible. Not to mention the bootleg DVD's made from the Laser Discs? -----signature----- You just watch yourself. I'm a wanted man... I have the DEATH SENTENCE on twelve SW messageboards.
