I don't want a "cleaned up" and "brighter" STAR WARS that only serves to make every flaw and failing excruciatingly visible.

If they're flaws and failings, why not change them?

If it's broke, fix it.

It is sad to see so many people, who didn't like the orginal films. There can never be a perfect film for all, we all have different tastes, something that I would like, so one else would hate.

The only changes I would do, would be the scenes GL messed up with the SE. What springs to mind, the Greedo scene in ANH. If GL is worried about Han Solo shooting first, why not put back the orginal dialogue that Greedo said.

I got a old copy of the "Behind the magic" from e-Bay and I have just seen orginal cut of the Cantina scene for the first time. The dialogue between Han and Greedo would fit in much better, also the dialogue between Han and Jabba in the hanger bay would not be repetitive.

For people who have not seen the scene the dialogue between Greedo and Han goes something like this, Greedo is furious with Han for making him look a fool at Jabba, so Greedo wants to kill Han and take Millennium Falcon. Han wants to go outside to sort it out, but Greedo does not and wants to deal with it in the Cantina. Then Greedo says "I been look forward to this" and Han replies "I bet you have" and shoots him!

If GL done this it would, correct the mess of the SE. He would be happy, that Han does not look to much of a bad guy. Han had to shoot first because if he did not, Greedo would of shot him. At the moment the scene is silly Greedo is less then a metre away from Han and he misses. On top of that Han does not even try to dodge the laser blast.

Getting back to my orginal message, the Films are great the way they are. Yes they have flaws, but we should love them.

Remember, Perfection is an impossibility for all. The films are the Great as they are. The OT should not be changed to fit in with the PT, the PT sholud be changed to fit in with the OT!!!!

The OT should not be changed to fit in with the PT, the PT sholud be changed to fit in with the OT!!!!

Tell me about it, but there is no point ruining some great films to fit in with some lesser films!!!

Maybe more trouble should of been taken to make the PT fit in with the OT from the start!!!

That would be impossible. Lucas knew which story was better and more engaging and went with it. Plus it could stand alone as it's own movie if he never made the sequels so [cliche]that's life, ya gotta go with what ya got.[/cliche]

Once they are released I just hope GL feels that they never have to be tinkered with again.


And TPM DOES have a digital Yoda, although just 2 or 3 shots.

the toaster oven will be included in the ultimate box set of the entire saga along with brand new scenes a more PT-like feel to the entire set and the kitchen sink.
