He's just been fried but he seems to be getting a high of off that "new sith" smell permeating his office. (Good line, great delivery) Silver: Obi-Wan Once those droids take control of the surface, they will take control of you. (Sounds almost exactly like Alec Guiness here) Gold: Sidious Wipe them out. All of them. (Pitch perfect delivery by IMD) AOTC Bronze: Dooku Master Kenobi! You disappoint me. I assumed you'd do better! (Wonderful "taunting villain" delivery. Christopher Lee was a great bit of casting) Silver: Obi-Wan + Jango Fett The entire conversation in Jango's Kamino quarters. (Two men playing out a subtle, delicate, beat around the bush negotiation. Each man knows what the other man is up to but will not tip his hand) Gold: Yoda Lost a planet, Master Kenobi has. Embarrassing - how embarrassing! (I couldn't help but smile hearing playful Yoda again) ROTS Bronze: Dooku Good. Twice the pride, double the fall. (More "taunting villain" greatness from Lee) Silver: Palpatine I AM the Senate! (Palpatine fed up with hiding - I love the venom in this delivery) Gold: Obi-Wan My allegiance is to the Republic - to deMOCracy!! (Wow. The line itself is very good, but EMG's delivery brings home the despair and finality of the situation. It is outraged and saddened in equal parts. I love it) ANH Bronze: Vader The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the Force. (Seriously, how cool is that?!) Silver: Tarkin Evacuate? In our moment of triumph!? I think you overestimate their chances! (The delivery suggested that Tarkin himself was actually considering the possibility. A classic "he doth protest too much" moment) Gold: Han You're all clear, kid! Now let's blow this thing and go home! (In the greatest 15 minutes in cinematic history, Han's return pushes me over the top, every time. Instant chills. What an amazing ending to a movie!) ESB (AKA the James Earl Jones show) Bronze: Luke No...that's not true! That's imPOSSible!! (Well played by Hamill - the vehement denial shows how much Luke feels it) Silver: Vader Bring my shuttle. (So well done - JEJ sounds conflicted, anxious, angry - almost too moved to speak, the way he tersely gasps it out. Why this line was replaced, I'll never know) Gold: Vader No. (beat) I...am your father. (A landmark in cinema - beautifully done. The success of this movie owes very much to Jones' voice work. I could have put in some 20 Vader lines) ROTJ Bronze: Vader I MUST obey my Master. (Conflicted Vader - I love the despair in the delivery. Vader knows he's stuck) Silver: Palpatine Oh, I'm afraid the deflector shield will be quite operational when your friends arrive. (IMD really stole scenes in Jedi - almost all of his lines were memorable. This was the best of them, with his mocking tone) Gold: Lando But how could they be jamming us if they didn't know...we were coming? (Such a tense scene, and BDW's delivery sells it so well. "Into The Trap" is one of the greatest scenes of the saga) Platinum: Luke Never. I'll never turn to the Dark Side. You've failed, Your Highness. I am a Jedi, like my father before me. (Luke's shining moment - resisting temptation in the belly of the beast. My favorite line in all six SW movies) -----signature----- There are WAAAY too many Dark Side fans among Star Wars fans.
