He even says he's a close friend of George Lucas and is personally involved the making of Empire. 	These rumors about Vader being Luke's father are totally false. Things we know: On set, Prowse told Hamill that Obi-Wan killed Luke's father. This is definitely the line. Vader is the bad guy; ergo he cannot be trusted. I would say that Vader is telling this to Luke to confuse him. This is pretty clear.
