	It's never seen in the film, but the EU does go into it. After being sent into space, one of the comics shows Vader's engines were damaged, and he wound up crash-landing on some sort of jungle planet. After making his way back to the nearest Imperial center, he returned to his command post-haste. (I think, my memory is foggy on this.) Considering that he's the second most powerful man in the galaxy, I think we can fairly assume that he has a few other specially built TIE interceptors lying around...one shows up again in Shadows of the Empire when he took out a Rebel base in some sector where the Moff had been lax. -----signature----- Part of the Darth Vader Fanclub.
