QFT, Adam happy

It's audio tracking and dubbing. Re-dubbing dialogue is common practice even when the original actor voices the dialogue... well originally. JEJ's voice was simply over-dubbed in the place of the dialogue spoken/not-spoken by David Prowse. It's part of the editing process.

Was Anthony Daniels in the costume, or did he just lend his voice to C-3PO?

Yes, he did both. Great example. His voice tracks in the original recording were muffled because of his face mask, and there was a lot of extra noise due to his movement in his costume, so his lines had to be re-recorded.

To expound on that last answer a bit, Daniels was originally hired to play C-3PO largely because he was the right size -- that is, smallish so as not to dwarf R2D2 -- and was a good mime. Like David Prowse, he was hired to fill the physical requirements of the role and was not initially considered for the voice of the droid. Lucas initially conceived of 3PO as an oily used-car salesman-type, and to that end he auditioned other actors to read the part.

But Daniels' performance was so effective, having played 3PO as (our beloved) English butler, complete with obsequious, butler-like gestures, that no other voice actor seemed to fit the part. Thus Daniels, no doubt giddy with delight, was called back by Lucas and the sound team to add his own unique vocal talents and so complete his characterization of the iconic robot. nerd

Yes, very true, Vort. happy He did such a good job with his *****ing, moaning, uptightedness, and prissyness of the character he was portraying (this is not a knock on AD at all), that when it came to the final cut, the character he portrayed became endearing throughout the shooting of the footage. Due to that, they couldn't think of a better person to voice the role.

Did Yoda "pull" Luke in to his swamp home using the Force? It seems unlikely that Luke crashed by accident

It's probably more like the Force guided him to land near Yoda.

Or maybe Yoda sensed the spot where Luke would land and built his hut nearby. tongue

Vader/Anakin is there, dying, and his son is there with him, his son being the only one who actually had faith in him, even in the end, after all he'd done to Luke. He killed Luke's best friend, killed a few of his other friends, ordered the deaths of the very people who raised Luke, Vader's step-brother and step-sister in law, and had even cut off Luke's hand, but Luke still beleived there was good in him.

-I have no doubt this boy is the offspring of Anikan Skywalker

He may have been talking generally about the business of being a Jedi and all the dangerous adventures that would entail but since he used the word 'crusade', I'd say he was talking about the Clone Wars. As far as Owen knows, Anakin became a Jedi and then went on the fight in the wars, alongside Kenobi. It was becoming embroiled in that, fighting for the Republic, which got him killed. As Owen thought, if Anakin had stayed on Tatooine and not got involved in such matters he would have been much better off.
