	Here's the problem with that statement: Stormtrooper Armor resembles plate armor, and plate armor isn't one size fits all. If it fit Luke the unfortunate stormtrooper Luke stole the armor from had to be of a similar build. If he was too much taller than Luke the armor would be unwearable.

	It resembles plate armor in a way, but the flexible body glove underneath is what determines how the armor fits (just ask any member of the 501st to see his/her armor). You can have a signifigant difference in height, but still wear the same armor... the gaps between pieces will just be slightly larger. -----signature----- It’s dangerous business, going out your door. 	Ive always said that! I also wondered what would make him standout as small. 	Maybe the armor was a little big for Luke I think the novelization supports this, although i don't have it with me to check. 	"luke was pretty short, youd think that with vader's height he'd be a little taller" Anakin didn't seem that tall in the prequels. I think most of that height came from his artificial limbs.

	FYI height, according to IMDB Mark Hamill is 5' 9" (1.75 m), Harrison Ford and Hayden Christensen both 6' 1" (1.85 m), Ewan McGregor 5' 10½" (1.79 m), Carrie Fisher 5' 1" (1.55 m), Natalie Portman 5' 3" (1.60 m), Alec Guinness 5' 10" (1.78 m), and David Prowse 6' 7" (2.01 m) and Liam Neeson 6' 4" (1.93 m). I guess Luke would be a bit on the short side, but only in comparison with the other guys. Similarly Hayden is short only when compared to Prowse. -----signature----- "Do. Or do not. 	If you watch the scenes carefully you can see Han's armor fits better than Lukes. Especially when they are taking chewbacca to the detention level. Lukes chest plate his pratically touching his belt. Where as Han has a longer torso, there is a much bigger gap inbetween the chest armor the his belt.
