Wow! Yeah I like that. The only thing I can constructively criticize is the text. Perhaps Dan can give you some pointers.

Thanks Darthbutt.
I went through a few different font changes before settling on those two. There are fonts I love that I also tried but I'm unsure if they fit well as SW text. But I'm open to criticism if it means the banner can look more appealing.

The Red Guards are awesome in my book. I'm not sure if there has been any on banners here in the past? Left side of the banner is supposed to be more the "behind the scenes" side of the Empire and the right side I intended to represent the more visible pawns and soldiers fighting on the front lines.
Here is the normal size version...the text looks a bit better here then in the smaller sample iMo.

Look at the text in this banner... that is what we are looking for.
The second part is much better, but the first part is still to be desired.
Edit: Also, look back a couple pages and look at DJK's forum selector, and check out the text used in all of our forums. Although this style is what I would lean towards. But add your own effects, you know?

Much better, but focus on the shadow effects and other effects. We're looking for professional here This forums text is an example of that. It doesn't necessarily have to be the same font, but the same effects and same style. Professionalism is our goal. You are very close

Sorry for the delay but I finally found some time to put together a stylesheet. The only problem is my hosting service is really slow right now so I'm hoping to upload it tonight and post it here for DARTHFINGERZ tonight or tomorrow.
