	I know Ben needed to go disarm the tractor beam, but lets say before ben left to do that R2 found the information about leia, and Ben descides it'd be best to free her first then take the tractor beam down. Either way just assume ben would help free her. How do you suppose things would go down? I think maybe if Obi wan was around that Han wouldn't do anything. I think he'd stay in that room with 3p0, r2, and chewie (chewie might want to help since he likes Jedi, but he's loyal to han) So Luke and Ben dress up as stormtroopers. When they get to the jail ceil I see Ben tearing up everyone in the room (while luke takes out the cameras) After leia is free ben would tell luke to head for the falcon while he takes down the tractor beam. I could see ben taking out all those stormtroopers that are trying to come through the blasted door........but would this work out? Would ben be able to take out the tractor beam? 	I'm pretty sure it would work out fine just the way it did. If Ben went to rescue Leia, then he would have been trapped in the garbage disposal with them...and by the time he got out, all those stormtroopers would have intercepted them in the hallway...and Ben probably would have ended up behind Luke which means he would also have to swing across the chasm. Then Vader would find Ben, Ben would die (or be distracted for too long a time to shut down the tractor beam) and Luke and the others would be mowed down by stormtroopers because the tractor beam would not allow them to leave the Death Star. Thats my theory of what would happen if Ben made the rescue with Luke... -----signature----- Damn fool, I knew you were going to say that.

	"There are alternatives to fighting" Had Ben been with them to rescue Leia, they might not have ended up in the trash compactor and maybe even walk out of the detention center again. Ben might have been able to do it "real quiet-like", much unlike Luke, Han and Chewie. It would be cool to see, I'm sure. 	Yeah like Officer: Where are you taking this thing Ben (using the force) To his jail cell. You must let us take him to his cell. Officer: You will take him to his cell. Then ben and luke (or who ever is there) pass the guards and head for leia OR they dont even bring Chewie. Luke and Ben (or maybe just ben) still dress up and stormtroopers and the officer is like Officer: Yes? What can we do for you. Ben (using the force) You must give us the princes prisoner. We are order to take her to (some place) Officer: Of course. 	The confrontation with Vader would have had to wait. He would have focused on Leia, or sent Han or Luke to disable the tractor beam, or they all would have went after Leia, then disabled the tractor beam and make a run for the Falcoln. Would he have still faced Vader? 	If Han wouldn't have botched his responses to the officer on the com, they might have had more time to escape. 	If Ben was with them, Vader would find them and if he would kill Ben ( which was quite possible) he would obviously become interested in Luke`s surname. he could even check if the boy is Force-sensitive and take him to Coruscant to the Emperor .
