	For non-French speakers, I find this to be quite fun, and at times, extremely humorous! Think about it; most of us here are pretty familiar with the OT. We know scenes, dialogue etc. So, even though for those of us who are not fluent in French, we know what is being said! French and Spanish are the 2 languages offered on the U.S. release of the OT on DVD. So far, I have only watched ESB in French. The best scenes to watch in French are: 1. Han and Leia's "interrupted kiss" onboard the Falcon. WHY? Well, for one, Han sounds EXTREMELY sexy delivering the lines in French! Almost too much. He is like Mr. Parisian lover or something! Remember, some lines cannot be directly translated, so slight variations occur. 3PO is even better! 2. "No, I am your father!" To me, it sounds almost more powerful as "Je suis du pere!" So what do you think? Anyone else here played around with the language selections for fun? "Heart" -----signature----- There are many like me who think that possibly one of the sexiest lines ever said in any movie is uttered by Han Solo when Princess Leia says, "I Love You." 	I watched ANH in Spanish once and found it quite entertaining. 	Very funny. I was wondering when someone would create a thread on this. When I first bought the OT set, I head read on these boards that the French dub contained the Death Star attack fanfare that is missing(or barely audible..creative decision, my a**) from the english version. I checked it out, and then found myself surfing through the film, watching entire sequences in French. The films play very well in both French and Spanish, as the nature of these "romance" languages really lend themselves to the classically romantic feel of the story. -----signature----- OT4EVER Scoundrel? 	Back in the mid-80's I saw one of the films, Can't recall if it was ANH or ESB, on Telemundo the Spanish language channel and it was quite entertaining. 	I saw the original in German. Not an easy language to translate into. 	German is... well... it works, but not much more than that. Never seen anything in French, only saw TPM in Italian once. Great voice actors! 	German is... well... it works, but not much more than that. QFT. There really isn't much more to say than that. And I think I saw a bit of it in French once.
