	According to the Wookiepedia site, it was Vader who had ordered the deaths of Owen and Beru Lars, in the search for R2-D2 and CP30. The problem is that I don't recall Vader being on the Tatooine surface. Was he? And if he had ordered their deaths, wouldn't Lucas have made a big deal about it? 	The problem is that I don't recall Vader being on the Tatooine surface. RamRed, the Star Wars films are rife with communication devices that do not require the conversants to occupy the same geographical or astronomical space. If you watch AotC, you can form a different opinion there.
