Why do they refer to Hoth as "Ice Planet Hoth?"

Hey everyone, my friend and I were talking about the Ice Planet Hoth when I thought, "Is there a lava planet Hoth? Why do they always make the distinction of "Ice Planet" when they're talking about Hoth? Is there more than one Hoth?" So i was wondering if any of you could help me out with it. Thanks.

well that wasn't in the conversation, but now that you bring it up...
Endor has multiple moons, right? So "Forrest moon" is a way to clarify which moon.
Also, I never said I was bothered. I was asking why, that's all. Way to be useful.

Okey dokey, if you really want an answer, by adding the two simple words "ice planet" in front of Hoth, GL let us know in the simplest way possible that this is a frozen, desolate ****-hole of a planet, but then again, I'm pretty sure you could have figured that out on your own which is why I questioned whether you were serious.

Yea that's all i wanted to know. If it was merely added description or if there was indeed another "Hoth" that they just never talked about.

Because that's what it is. As opposed to being a gas giant like Bespin or Yavin.

Personally, I was hoping they would have gone with "Casino Hoth".
I was hoping for Country Club Hoth... but then realized the golf balls would be lost too easily.
