It's important to know that Webster lists BOTH pronunciations as being legit, but it does place the one I posted as the preferred one.

He said Executioner, which is the job of killing people, thus he did imply it.

ex·e·cu·tion·er /ˌɛksɪˈkyuʃənər/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[ek-si-kyoo-shuh-ner] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation
–noun
1. an official who inflicts capital punishment in pursuance of a legal warrant.
2. a person who executes an act, will, judgment, etc.
Nothing here stating that to be an executioner is to kill people. Thus he didn't imply it.
My take on the pronounciation is this: Exec-yoo-tor
Edit: Dictionary.com
ex·ec·u·tor /ɪgˈzɛkyətər or, for 1, ˈɛksɪˌkyutər/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[ig-zek-yuh-ter or, for 1, ek-si-kyoo-ter] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation
–noun
1. a person who executes, carries out, or performs some duty, job, assignment, artistic work, etc.
2. Law. a person named in a decedent's will to carry out the provisions of that will.

Yup, one who executes the will or orders of another. Case in point, in legal terms - the executor of a will.
It's covered at http://www.starwars.com/qa/ Got to "Episode V Lore" in the dropdown, and the second from last question is;
starwars.com posted: Q. How is Executor, the name of Darth Vader's Super Star Destroyer, pronounced?
A. The word "executor" means "one who carries out or performs something," and is pronounced ig-ZEK-yoo-tur. The confusion over pronunciation often stems from the word "executioner."
On the old site is was under the Q/A section and answered by Jocasta Nu. It was also easier to link to in those days
I always went with the 'person who kills people' definition, but I guess you learn something new everyday.

I've always pronounced it the non-canon way (execute + RRRRR), which is odd because with Nom Anor, I think of the other pronunciation.
