Thanks to everyone who sent in a list of their favorites. We had quite a surprising range of picks!
I'll post them in groups of five for the first part of the countdown, then one at a time with more comments added. Please add your comments with each set. I'll try to make about one new post per day.
#100 - Lars Family Dinner
"That wizard's just a crazy old man."
#99 - The Price For Chewbacca
"Fifty thousand. No less."
#98 - City In The Clouds
"Permission granted to land on platform 3-2-7."
#97 - A Message And A Gift
"You are a protocol droid are you not? Yes or no will do."
#96 - Rebel Briefing
"The emperor has made a critical error and the time for our attack has come."

Should I admit the Rebel briefing music is sort of catchy?
Nah... I'd never be able to leave that down.

They use a cue from "The Fleet Enters Hyperspace" in the Jedi Outcast video game, which I can't get out of my head after posting that picture.
And I just love the artwork done for the arrival at Bespin scene. Simply stunning. Quite a visual shift at that point in the film.

My fav from this group is the Lars Family Dinner. Which was always great, but has been made a *lot* more meaningful by the PT. Hate me if you like
I meant to vote in this but didn't get around to it. Ah, well, I might not have been able to pick anyway. I'll definitely be interested to see how it turns out, though.

Actually, not to give too much away, but the top three scenes were very close in the voting.
I hope that adds to the suspense.

The screencaps look great. Very nice quality.
I always loved the price for chewbacca, great scene... First time viewers are like "ahhhh ****!"
GK edit: Gotta star out the whole word.

I'm suprised the droid scene ranked so low. Even after 30 years theres still the fans like us who laugh about the Tosche station line.
I can't wait to see what Anakins redemption ranks as, same as "I am your father"
My Bad, General K on the star'ing of the word.

Not a big deal at all.
The score during the "Droids For Sale" scene is called "The Moisture Farm", and I find it's a track I listen to quite often. I'm surprised it's not higher on the list as well.

None of my scenes have appeared yet. I have to say that i'm surprised the Garbage Chute scene didn't rate higher. It's one of the scenes I immediately identify with ANH.
Of course, I didn't vote for it either.

Yeah, me either, that's one of the great scenes I forgot about, though I don't think it would have made my list, it would have been close. Outstanding dialogue in the scene.

What made picking especially tough is that there are so many blasted scenes, and so many of them blur together as to make voting for one just about impossible.
