Except for the awesome Force Theme march used as the cue.

I just love how pleased 3PO is with himself at the end of the scene. No concept of what he just interrupted, just so happy that he was able to be of some assitance to Han in fixing the Hyperdrive.

"Sir! Sir! I've isolated the reverse power flux coupling!"
I love this one. You nailed the reason why, DDH. Again, how humor was done right in SW.
I used to work with a guy back in the day when we were basket pushers at Sam's Club, and we used to test our SW trivia with each other, and I totally pwned him with my above quote. This same guy introduced me to X-Wing! (which sorta started my career in IT) He went off to college out of state, and I never saw him again.

Awesome I think this was my #5 or something. Glad to see it this far up
and I voted for it purely because of 3PO's "Oh, you're perfectly welcome, sir "
C-3PO FTW

I voted for this because I thought it contained Luke's line about becoming a Jedi, but I found out that that was the scene prior to it.
This is still a great scene. The Emperor used to scare me as a kid. Especially after he shows that wicked smile.

I love Vader's turn back to the light. Especially now in light of the PT (but even before), I've always wondered what exactly was going through Vader's mind during this scene. And, of course, the Palpatine is just wickedly evil, and I love it. All through ROTJ, Palp is just glowing in the darkside, and it's hair-raising.

Ahhh! I've missed so many great scenes because I was out of town without a comp Well, I will say that the ESB lightsabre duel was on my list as was the interrupted kiss. I believe that one was high up My friends and I used to quote that scene back and forth all the time in jr. high Such a great scene. Clever, but not too cheeky. Just enough... and very tense and sexy. You can't help but feeling, "do it, do it!"

I too loved this scene with the frying of Luke. It was great that he stood firm against the dark side (although I am still raising my eyebrow a bit at his tossing his saber aside) and it was made even better by Sidious' wrath. Vader's indecision in this scene was totally cool the first time I saw it. The audience was mumbling and grumbling "save him", "do something you dolt" and all kinds of things making me laugh, but it was still very moving and filled me with anxiety. Of course the next scene was my #1 pick..eheh. I don't remember if I picked this, but I loved it - this whole part was incredibly wicked.
Great shots General! Keep up the good work, these are amazing.

Yeah, just for the record, this scene does not include Luke saying "I am a Jedi, like my father before me" or Vader killing the Emperor. It's everything in between while Palpatine taunts and fries Luke.
