This is a great scenec contrasted perfectly with the next scene, a scene I also love.

This scene always makes me reminisce the events of the trilogy and, now, the saga. I've always wished this scene was a longer so I had more time to take in the full effect of that. This scene is sad in many ways: the end of the Empire (common, admit it, we all secretly love the Empire); the death of Vader (and I know you love Vader); Luke's loss; and finally, being that this scene ends the trilogy/saga like no other, we realize it with this scene. The score is perfectly fitting as well.

So, from what we've seen, not only does Lord Vader know how to make an appearence, but he also knows how to make an exit.

I love the shot through the microbinoculours where you first see the AT-AT.

It sends a chill up my spine. I bet the rebels were like "Oh ****."

the only downside to it is that 80% of the SW games involved the freaking Battle of Hoth somehow tongue
but it debuts one of the coolest vehicles ever, the Ay-Tee Ay-Tee mischief

This is a great scene, and the first real ground battle we see.

Sorry for the late update.

Of course, this scene is better known by the line "Try not. Do or do not. There is no try." I call it "Yoda and The Force", based on the cue from the soundtrack. I wish I could have the score playing for this one (well, all of them :-p, but this one in particular). What a powerful and moving scene as Yoda demonstrates his powers with the Force and delivers to Luke a lesson in believing in yourself.

Its between this ("Do or do not, there is no try") and the "I am your father" for most quoted line in SW.

I'm somewhat surprised this didn't make top 10.

Well, i'm surprised that either the asteroid field chase and the Hoth battle didn't make it into the top 10.
