I hope you all realsie that having missed the OT vote, I'm going to be taking the PT vote very seriously. S I want everyone to think long and hard about it beofre making any rash decisions.
I'm predicting a heavy skew on the side of ROTS, but haven't given it any thought yet.
Anyway, back to OT.
Well done GK. A truly worthwhile thread if ever there was one - I would say it should go straight into the Jedi Archives, but I don't think they survived into the OT, so I guess we'll just have to sticky it here instead.

Just want to say again that this whole thread has been an absolute blast. Some scenes I've not thought that highly of have been shown in a new light thanks to the discussions. Really can't wait for the PT one 
EDIT: I predict Vader getting his mask on will win
EDIT 2: How about doing a "worst scene" vote. Could be fun!

Thank you GK for doing so much work and providing such a great thread! I think this is the first thread I've ever kept up with completely.
Best scene for the PT? I predict either Anakin meeting Obi Wan, and Darth Vader and Palpataine watching the construction of the death star.
Worst scene.. that could be a little hard ,especially if dialogue has any impact.

The PT will be interesting because there is no clear cut #1. Also there wasn't been enough years for particular scenes to becaome classics so I think the whole list will be intriguing.

Though I do agree that the PT hasn't been out long enough to maintain "classic" scene status, I would say the closest things to the classic would be Anakin and Obi Wan meeting along with Duel of Fates. If and when a PT countdown is done, I'm calling those out for the top ten.

Yeah, the #1 was pretty much a given. I think this is the scene in the trilogy. This is the one scene that I wish I could somehow go back and watch for the first time. I was too young the first time I saw it to appreciate what was going on.
This was a fun thing to do, I enjoyed it, add me to the thank you to GK list.

Yes I agree, this awesome thread does deserves to be pinned to page one.
Anyways I'm glad Vader's Redemption is at Number 3. Thats my favorite OT scene of all time and my second favorite Star Wars scene overall. I just find it to be such a powerful scene and overall I thought it was executed really well.
And when Luke pulls him away from the Reactor, and Vader is breathing like that and dying, while Luke holds on to him always made me feel sad.

I'm so excited! Im working on my list GK, though this one is harder because there aren't as many iconic and classic scenes like the OT.
