This is based off a EU forum thread. From characters and events in either trilogy, what songs would you match them up with? So far, I have

Darth Vader: Johnny Cash - Hurt

Darth Vader Dies: Go Rest High On That Mountain

Padme's Death: Kenny Chesney - Who You'd Be Today

Palpatine: One Winged Angel

Alderaan's Destruction: Arms of the Angels

Order 66: I Will Remember You

Han Solo: I've Been Everywhere

Obi-Wan's Death: Tears In Heaven

Battle of Endor: X-Ray Dogg's Dethroned or Requiem for a dream

Darth Vader: Back in Black.

It just fits so well.

Well if this is from either trilogy, this should probably be in the Saga forum.

I think the perfect song for Darth Vader is just the Imperial March. But since we're getting pop culture'd, I guess One by Metallica.

and Palpataine; Master of Puppets by Metallica.

If there ever were a music video on My Immortal for Padme, when the lyrics reach "I've tried so hard to tell myself that you're gone", imagine a slow transformation scene from Anakin into Vader.

When Luke appears in all black in ROTJ, Back In Black seems to work.

Also, anytime Anakin or Luke are fighting Sith/Imperial/gangster forces, "Everything I Do" seems to fit.

Maybe during Anikin's conversion, "Every I Do (I Do It For You)" would be good.

Well it's a good fighting song too, when it talks about fighting for you. And truthfully, Anakin was fighting for Padme during the war.
