In ROTJ, Yoda tells Luke that when he dies that Luke will be the last Jedi living. So is there any reference to talks about Luke starting the jedi order back up again and how does he know who to train?

Also, If there are only two sith, no more, no less, like stated and both Palpatine (master) and Vader (apprentice) die in ROTJ, does that extinct the ways of the sith and darkside. Is this why there is no more reason to make more movies because there is no more villains?

How can Palpatine easily find new apprentice after apprentice from Maul,Dooku,Grievous literally so fast? Where do these guys come from and how are they trained to be sith that fast? Are there other dark side lurkers out there that we dont know about and who trained them?

Butt Edit: We've gone from post CT EU, to PT era, to video games. I don't see what relevancy this has to CT. Please pose these questions in the dedicated forums for these topics.. and you will be likely to find existing threads on these questions in those forums. Thanks. happy

Yes, several years after the Battle of Endor, Luke did discover several Jedi that survived Order 66. He started a New Jedi Order with Praxeum on Yavin IV. As the Order started to grow, more and more hopefuls joined his academy.

To some, the Sith did become extinct following Vader and Palpatine's death during the Battle of Endor. However, in the Expanded Universe (comics, novels, video games), there are several instances where the Sith have come back to prominence. Some examples: Palpatine's clones, Lumiya, Darth Caedus, the spirit of Marka Ragnos, Darth Krayt and his New Sith Order. There are plenty of villains to go around: random Imperial warlords, the Yuuzhan Vong, the Corellians, the Killiks, a resurgent Empire. There's always going to be villains...just how there's always going to be heroes.

You have to understand though the time frames that occur before, during, and after the movies. Palpatine trained Maul for years before TPM, Dooku had a good ten years under his belt training under Sidious, and Grievous wasn't a Sith...just a lackey working for them.

ok thanks,

Do you know the name of the secret sith apprentice of Darth Vader that is starring in the new video game The Force: Unleashed? After I posted that question, all of a sudden I thought about that game. Are there any readings saying he died during that time or is he still alive out there? That would make a awesome sequel if GL wanted to continue. Annikans son vs. Annikans apprentice. Star Wars VII. The secret sith.

As of right now, we don't know the identity of the Secret Apprentice or his history post TFU. But, since a lot of these questoins border on the EU, I might suggest taking some of them to the Literature Section of the boards. happy

I think every Sith Master and Apprentice each have somebody in mind to replace the other or they are already training somebody without the other knowing. This "backup" Sith isn't officially a Sith until they have an empty spot to fill in. That's the way I've always looked at it.
