	There is nothing concrete that proves hes not (in some way) with padme and since they are now both part of the force than they are resting in peace together. 	yea other people cant retain their identity but that doesn't mean you become totally gone and no more after you die, you just become one with the netherworld of the force. 	They could always make another trilogy. Anakin becomes a force ghost, gets pissed because he still can't see Padme. Then, as a force ghost, goes the clone of the Emporer and offers to be his apprentice in exchange for transferring force abilities to Padme's corpse, ressurecting it, teaching her how to become a force ghost and then letting her die so she could join him in the force. 	I wouldn't mind seeing such a scene, provided that it was done right and was not added to ROTJ. The movie is fine as it is. Save an Anakin/Padme reunion for something else, like a STAR WARS anthology or something. -----signature----- -30-

	I think it's just part of the whole tragic character Anakin is. He used his wife's dying dream as an excuse to do bad things. Very bad things. I think part of his redemption in "Jedi" is the fact that he has come to peace with his past, his family, & himself. -----signature----- Isaiah 41:13

Well the ability to retain your identity is still an accomplishment in that they can actually materialize from the afterlife to life and show themselves to people like luke at the end of Episode 6. Yoda said in Revenge of the sith that qui-gon "returned from the netherworld of the force" suggesting that he cant retain his identity (witch is an accomplishment like you said) but he CAN however communicate with yoda when he is deep in meditation and then yoda teaches obi-wan how to do the same and so on. I dont think its that much of a stretch to say that there is at least (on some level) some sort of "afterlife" or "heaven" when you die in star wars. -----signature----- "You call THIS a diplomatic solution?"
