1. Possible scenes that I will challenge you with come in a variety of subjects, but they all relate to the Classic Trilogy or the Rebellion era. With that said, one round we might have a serious scene such as Palpatine speaking to Vader about the destruction of the Death Star, and the next round we might have one where Palpatine learns of the destruction of the Death Star while sitting on the toilet. Although we of course want to be taken seriously, scenes will be fun and lighthearted at times rather than purely serious. Sometimes there will also be super-challenges, which are larger sequences rather than individual scenes, and you will be given more time for that. 1.1. Just as a note, it is up to you whether you submit a scene in screenplay form or narrative form. Whatever you are most comfortable with is acceptable. However, there is a one hundred word minimum for all scenes. 2. There is no sign-up process in this game. Entry into a round is determined by your posting of a scene within the allotted timeframe. The winner of a game can participate in the next game unless it gets to be a case where the same person wins each time. If this happens, I will prevent those people from playing one or two games just to make things fair. 3. Contestants will have one week to submit their scenes into the thread where it will be read and discussed by members of the Classic Trilogy board. Once the deadline has passed, no late entries will be accepted and members will vote in a public poll to determine the winner. Readers will have three days to submit this vote. Once the vote is over, the winner will be announced. 4. You may not message members asking them to vote for you. We feel that this takes the fun out of the spirit of friendly competition and we would not want anyone to get into trouble, as mass private messaging is a bannable offense on TheForce.Net. 5. The winner of the round will receive VIP colors for three days. If you do not win, though, have no fear! You will not be banned and you will be able to try again in the next round. 6. If you have questions regarding the scene topic, please post them in the thread rather than sending me a message. This way, those with the same or similar problems will have an answer as well. 7. Lather, rinse, repeat.
