	all this various force powers stuff is bunk. All force users have telekenetic ability - using that basic ability, you can do practically anything. Move ships, grab lightsabres, jump high, run fast and squeeze throats..... oh yes. The "dark" side is akin to misuse - using your abilities for ill gain, power etc etc....

	The dark side is a part of the Force, canonically growing in strength by the time of AOTC. 	I would imagine quite a few of the Master's would need to learn the lightning power. If not only to understand and defend against it, but to also instantly stun opponents or for technical and electrical work.
