Of course, but the OP's not intending this as a serious argument. If someone makes one that is or bumps up the old thread I'll argue against what the Empire represents, but at least as far as I can tell, that's not what this thread was intended for tongue

You also forgot that only Imperial stormtroopers are so precise in their aim. If anyone remembers the Daredevil comics you basically have an entire army of troops as good as Bullseye in terms of their accuracy...right?

Even though I was always rooting for the Rebels, the Empire, IMHO, did have cooler gear. The Stormtroopers were awesome, the Star Destroyers looked terrifying and menacing (and cool), the ATATs were neat, and how many of us really would say no to a speeder bike from the Empire? My only problem with the Empire's gear was the fighter fleet. I thought the TIE fighters were rather clumsy-looking. The only cool ones IMO were the TIE bombers and maybe the Interceptors. Otherwise I would much rather have the Rebel fighter fleet.

and speaking of speeder bikes, I found it dumb that Anakin's AotC swoop was faster than the RotJ ImpScout bike talk_hand

I didn't find that dumb at all. Swoops are basically engines with seats, they're built for racing and speed. Although slower, the scout bike was most likely armoured, armed, easier and safer to fly.

a) wookieepedia disagrees. 350km/h for the Swoop and 500 for the ImpScout
b) SWG did it because the swoop was "zomg prequels cool" and the speeder bike was from that movie with the teddy bears

and the speeder bikes are definitely more starwarsy
