Look at the time Obi-Wan, 3CPO and R2 spent just dragging out and burning a few Jawas. Owen and Beru were still smoldering and hot, not easy to move. And how many hours would have passed digging two graves by himself ? The time sequence of events dont look like they add up.

Obi-Wan and the droids spend quite a long time by the remains of the sandcrawler, long enough, in fact, for another sandcrawler to see the smoke and stop by to scavenge what they could from the wreckage. In fact, during this, Threepio remarks that Luke has been gone for a long time and is starting to worry about him.
