After he donned the suit he didn't sound British. He sounded like a deep-voiced African American male. You know, kind of like James Earl Jones.

	James Earl Jones is doing a "non-regional" American accent in the OT and ROTS. Some of the features of this accent are similar to an upper-class English accent, such as a softening of the "r" at the end of a syllable and clear enunciation. 	The voice coming out of Vader's mask was not Anakin's. It was an electronically produced voice synthesis. I am still nto sure when Vaders Voolice is supposed to change to British, although Vader's accent in the OT always seem to be different. 	Actually I think you'll find it's called a "Vocoder", an advanced version of what the Stormtroopers have in their helmets.
