	There's a nice quote from James Earl Jones regarding his crediting for the voice: “ When Linda Blair did the girl in The Exorcist, they hired Mercedes McCambridge to do the voice of the devil coming out of her. And there was controversy as to whether Mercedes should get credit. I was one who thought no, she was just special effects. So when it came to Darth Vader, I said, no I'm just special effects. But it became so identified that by the third one, I thought, OK I've been denying it, I've been saying it sounds like the uncola nut guy Holder. Geoffrey Holder! ... But for the third one, I said OK, I'll let them put my name on it."

	Trying to make any sense of how the PTs connect to the OTs is not a task anyone can be successful partaking. Lucas clearly just went nuts on the PTs and did what he wanted without considering any details. I think Lucas just had a secret love for Hayden's bad acting and needed to have him play Anakin.

	You got to be kidding me. The connections to the OT shouldn't be that hard to notice when you watch the PT. I thought Hayden was excellent in portraying Anakin's confusion in ROTS and from the earlier comments in this thread, I'm not the only one who thinks that. It wasn't so great in AOTC but I don't know how any actor could have been comfortable with the dialogue from the romantic scenes.
