	In RotJ Special Addition- Max Rebo was brought along Jabba's sail barge and it looks like he burned up with it. It's been awhile since I saw the Original edition, does the same thing happen in it?

	They survive in an EU story published 1996, before the Special Edition. I think only the character lineup changed and they were always on it. 	In the EU, Max Rebo jumped out of the sail barge at the last minute and afterwards went on the join the Rebel Alliance. I personally like that idea, but those who don't care for the EU may prefer to think that he was killed like everyone else on the sail barge.

	Max Rebo jumped outta the sail barge ... CLASSIC! <Funny alien accent> "I am getting the hell out of here!" <jumps over the railing> I wish this was in the movie. Seriously ... Good stuff. People who hate ROTJ would hate the scene anyways - the ROTJ fans would absolutely love to see it, I bet. It would inevitably be one of the most talked about scenes ever. Add dramatic music right before he jumps and while he is falling in slow motion - John Williams could score something really dramatic - a tune called "Rebo's Leap" that would be a dramatic symphony. Lastly, have Max Rebo encounter Boba Fett (as he is pulling himself out of the Sarlacc Pit) - have the two characters nod affirmatively at each other with mutual respect - and walk off in the desert together.
