	Why exactly hasn't there been a proper release of the deleted scenes from the OT, apart from those that ended up in the Special Editions? Every DVD release of the PT has included excellent deleted scenes, finished with effects, & with commentary & introductions, & yet there's been very little glimpse of the scenes that didn't make the cut for the OT. The Biggs/Anchorhead scenes did make it onto the Behind The Magic CD-ROMs in 1998, but apart from that, there's been nothing, other than Jabba in Docking Bay 94 & the Biggs/Luke hangar reunion added to the ANH SE. That's quite a bit of interesting material, but there's more that has yet to really be seen as actual motion pictures. It's not like GL is one of those filmmakers who doesn't believe in releasing deleted material - the PT DVDs are proof of that - & there's clearly plenty of material from all three films. Some may not have survived, but surely Lucasfilm would have enough available to make it worth the effort, & there's plenty of fans who would shell out more cash just to see unreleased OT material. Additionally, a print of the 'Lost Cut' still exists - I'd happily buy a new box set just to get a copy of that, & it would be a valuable educational tool for anyone interested in editing, just to compare the completely different interpretations of ANH. Is Lucas & LFL holding out on us for some sort of Uber Collection, or can they just not be bothered? Personally, I'd rather have half an hour of deleted scenes from the OT than any of the new SW stuff that's on its way.
