	IIRC, Seven of Nine (born Annika Hansen), was a little more shaky, heh. Yeah, but then you're reminded of the most out-of-nowhere Voyager storyline: C/7. How? (BTW, I hate Chakotay too.) Hey, I just noticed, "Annika" is an anagram for "Anakin". (Well, I didn't just notice.) They're both diminutives of Anna, though.

That's why you get all the emphasis on philia now, because some women are fascinated with male friendships. (This is also the explanation for slash fiction.) So the Special Edition added more philia (the Luke/Wedge hug) to ROTJ, a movie largely about storge, with a dash of Han/Leia eros. ROTS emphasized philia (Anakin/Obi-Wan) and eros (Anakin/Padmé). Of course, eros is still the dominant love of Western art. Buffy is not a science-fiction character.

	Padme didn't ruin Sci-Fi. She was just a badly written characters. THe first two movies she was this strong and inspiring woman...yet in the third film she "dies of a broken heart". She was a strong and inspiring woman who was ultimately built on sand because while she was off doing grand and important things she managed to completely ignore her own needs in the process.
