Hi,

first off, I love both versions. as long as I can still have the original versions, GL can tweak 'em as much as he likes. which leads to my question - is he finished tweaking them?

I hope not because the Special Editions feel incomplete to me. and some changes were not made that didn't make sense to me (about ANH mainly) or at least makes the SE's inconsistent

1) the escape from Tatooine - the Falcon was enhanced during take off (some nice subtle "turbulence was added") but running from the Star Destroyers was left as is - why not show some of those fancy moves Solo bragged about? (or am I wrong? did they change that too?)

2) the audio goof between Vader and Tarkin was not fixed??

3) there were no fancy manovuers added to the Falcon vs. the Tie Fighters (understandable though as there were some time constraints)

4) Jabba in ANH looks like "young" Jabba from TPM and yet has radically "aged" four years later (understandable also as adding Jabba was experimentmental but aging on the ANH Jabba would be nice)

but I personally would very lie to see completed version of the Special Editions with the Tatooine and Wampa scenes added and the battle scenes of ANH be made consistant. will we ever get a SAGA release where the deleted scenes of all movies are reintergrated, I wonder?

regards
