	We all know that Obi-Wan was phsically shaken by the destruction of Alderaan and the loss of life. On a recent viewing of ANH, I wondered why Luke would not have felt...something. Though Obi-Wan is a Jedi Master and wears the Force as a second skin, would not someone with such raw, if untrained and untapped Force potential, have felt something? 	Perhaps Luke just wasn't attuned to all the aspects the Force held yet? Sure, the death of an entire world is likely to scream in the Force, but it wouldn't have hurt to have Luke feel a little something either.

	Luke, being still without training, wouldn't have been even remotely as closely attuned to the Force as Obi-Wan. Had it happened after RotJ, I would expect he would have felt it, just not at that time. Palpatine probably had a nice evil smile on his face when he felt it Unless, of course, he was thinking "Dang it Tarkin, you just destroyed a nice taxable planet!" 	Luke couldn't sense Leia was his sister and she was right next to him.
