	1. Luke was cute (his dad on the other hand.. ) 2. Luke was cool 3. Ewoks were cute and adorable (travels back in time to slap herself) 4. Leia should like Luke not Han Solo because he was mean (eek ! what was i thinking Han is a cutie) 5. Vader was pure evil (now im impacted emotionally when I see the redemption of Vader , and the interaction of Vader and Luke, esp. s/n AOTC) 6. That my future bf/husband would be a Jedi (hey! i thought well Vader was a jedi and he had babies so jedis can marry/date.. oh i guess now i know there is no such thing as a jedi) 7. Lifesavers (i think everyone thought this) 8. Luke killed "Dark" Vader in the scary cave and I couldn't understand why, Yoda looked disappointed, I was thinking he killed Vader ! -----signature----- Anakin Luke Boga Lives !

	Wow, this is a great thread! I think that just about everyone had the whole "lifesaver" and "Dark" Vader things going, (Actaually I thought it was Dark Vater) but did anyone else think that ANH was a story about 2 funny robot's that got stuck in the deasert? Wow, I hope not! I can remember my dad telling me when I was about 4 or 5 that I'd like the funny robot's in the movie he was watching, so naturally I thought that it was all about them. The stormtroopers were robots too, and so was "Dark Vater". I also remember that ESB was about snow, and ROTJ was about teddy bears! The jedi were jeti(yeah, I got my ds and ts mixed up), and light sabre's were lightsavers. It was always dark when they used them, so I thought that they saved the light from the darkness because the glowed and lit up the room or something, I dunno. I think the worst thing though is that I never knew that I was watching SW when I thought all of that! I had no idea that the Ewoks weren't the stars of the movie, all I knew was that their second movie wasn't as good and that they had a great cartoon show! Oh yeah, and I thought that Leia and Luke were in love! I found out differently after being made fun of for having their action figure's make out -----signature----- Back in action: Now with 10% more grumbling! 	UP goes the only thread to make me cry (besides reading about Corpsey's demise!) The first (and only) time that I watched the "Star Wars Holiday Special" on TV, I was really annoyed by the fact that they couldn't even employ the original actors from ANH to play Luke and Leia - Mark Hamill was unrecognisable with all of that eye make-up on! -----signature----- A new Galactic EMPIRE for a SAFE and SECURE future... 	Hey! I still think Luke is "cool." I used to think that the Aliens in the Cantina all wanted to kill the humans. I also used to think that if Luke killed Darth Vader that he would literally become Darth Vader. I mean, that Darth Vader would disappear and his Armor would go flying around the room and seal itself to Luke's body and viola.. instant new Darth Vader! I guess that is because I could never remember that Luke put on that black glove before he fights Darth... 	Yeah, I thought stormtroopers were robots and thought DV was Dark Vader, but the worst of it was this. My dad took me to see SW the week it went into wide enough release to get to within 30 mins. of us, but I -- being 6 years old - was ticked off cause I thought we were going to see "Star Crash", a movie that came out at roughly the same time but had lots more stuff blowing up in the trailer as I recall. And when did you guys learn to read roman numerals? When GL changed the scroll in the first rerelease to theaters, I don't think I knew what an episode was, let alone what an iv was... Maybe it meant iv you like this one then you'll really like the next one! -----signature----- 9

	- darth vader was pronounced Dark Vader - lightsaber pronounced as lightsaver - obi-wan was pronoucned Obay-One - thought Darth Vader was an alien or machine & not humanoid before ESB - when i saw ROTJ as a 7 yr old in the threater - i thought when Luke fought Vader in the cave he had killed him and thought when it showed his face that it was his twin brother - thought C-3PO was spelled ceethreepeeoooo - thought the ewoks were carebears - thought Luke & Leia were gf/bf in ANH - thought Ben disappeared down a secret floor passage way in ANH - thought when Ben came back as a ghost in HOTH that he was cold, thus the blue color - thought Chewbacca was a human that didnt shave since puberty - thought there was a midget inside R2-D2 - thought C-3PO was a person with armor, in some kind of knights armor - thought Obi-Wan was luke's grandfather because of the reaction he gave when he became one with the Force - thought Darth Vader and Boba were brothers - thought the trench battle in ANH took place in the trench that runs along the Death Star's equator. - Jedi as Jet-Eye - thought stromtroopers were cheap robots that were stupid and cant shoot - thought ANH was ep. 	I called the "lifesavers" I called him "Dark Vader" And in ESB I thought Luke had two lightsabers (the other one being Bens, from ANH)because I saw him fall through the wind tunnel in Cloud City holding one and the next scene shows him hanging for dear life to the railing. "Oh he must have lost one in the fall and used Ben's for the rest of the fight?' 	ya i also thought in the beginning that vader was a droid When Ben told Luke that Vader killed his Father , i thought his father was the rebel-oficer , that vader killed (strangled) asking for the plans i missed in the opening from ANH that there was "episode IV" so when i got to ESB in '80 and saw "episode V" i was like OMG i missed 3 parts ! -----signature----- "As you can see my young aprentice ,your friends have failed" "Young fool , only now ,at the end ,do you understand" "I am altering the deal , pray i dont alter it any further " "Everything that has transpired has done so according to my design"

	When you think that Ben felt that "millions of oysters suddenly cried out in terror," or that Darth instructed Piett to "prepare the bowling party," well, it becomes clear that there was something else of interest beyond the dialogue I thought those were the lines, too. I though Obi-Wan was Leia's father the first time I saw ANH. I have, to this day, no idea how I arrived at this conclusion. I thought Leia and Han must be brother and sister because they were both brown haired, and Luke was blond, so he couldn't be Leia's brother. @_@ I thought Vader died at the end of ANH.
