I'm glad for you that it was not worse, and that it could be repaired for the most part. I am always scared something is going to get knocked off the shelves by my cats and broken, a couple of close calls, my 12" Leia and her speeder bike fell seven feet straight down because the cat couldn't fit on the shelf with Leia, so he shoved her off the shelf. Believe it or not, she and the bike survived with nothing broken.

Thanks, ladies. happy
Yes, it could have been worse. Padme is intact, so that's something!

cathie, that's funny about your cat. Just shove Leia off the shelf, no problem. laugh Good thing she didn't break though.

phew! That's a close one ObiDawn. Sounds like minimal damage. That's a good thing.
I know how you all feel! My grandma was visiting for the holidays and bumped my Obi Wan in Clone Armor Maquette. The lightsaber broke off from the post. Should be repairable... but I can't find the post anywhere. I might have to improvise.

I haven't had any disasters, but on the other hand I don't really have much expensive things either.

I need to rearrange my action figure shelf though since I got 4 new figures at Christmas, the Padme evolution set and Breha Organa.

I got the Breha from a friend who had been in Scotland, I had no clue about her either. The only thing is that she seems to be missing her shawl, that she's wearing on the pic in the back. I haven't gotten the box back home yet though so I haven't opened it to see if it is has gotten loose and is hidden somewhere. Even without the shawl I'm really happy about the figure. It's not exactly a figure that I expected, especially compared to what kind of female figs that usually get made.

Those are exciting figures! I am happy with my Breha Organa too! I can't wait to see what female character figures Hasbro will offer for this coming year. Guess we'll have to wait for Toy Fair 2009 in February.

My grandma did feel terrible but I assured her it's no big deal. In the end, I'm just happy that she came to visit. happy

Its been so long since I've been on here that I have totally forgot my log-in (and so has the Board). So I had to cre't ate a new one. Most of you may know me as JedimomG or Jedimom, depending on what board you're on. So I am back and bored.

Haven't gotten many toys lately. Prices are restrictive, as is my location. Concentrating on the CW lines.

Even if I hadn't really added to my collection, for the first time I can actually display it. I moved into a new apartment this summer and was able to actually concentrate all my stuff in one place. THe only thing is that I'm going to have a big problem if I want to continue with my 12" collection, since that shelf is totally full. The only thing not here is my big CIV Padmé poster, Dressing a galaxy and my personalised Y-wing helmet. I keep all those at my sewing corner as inspiration.

The boxes that you see on top of the shelf are filled with cut-outs, autographs, convention programmes and other stuff that I've gotten my hands on since '99. I'm hoping to make a big scrapbook out of them some time during the year.

Here's links to my Flickr photostream with some of my collection. This is a couple of years old, from the 30th Anniversary when I had a display at the local library and a small collection at the Post Office for the stamp unveiling

Wow that's a great collection, mine is really tiny in comparison.

I finally got my Breha out of the box, and I was very happy to place her beside my Bail figure, and with my galactic heroes Leia in between. It sure looks like a little Organa family photo.

Thank you both for sharing collection photos! They are always fun to see. Looks like you both have some wonderful items. ObiAnne, I love the Padme Blaster! Is it a custom creation?

Yes it is, I bought it from a former Padmé costumer who was selling off her things. It's made by a real replica proffessional, they are good enough so that they are trying to get some official licenses as well, here in Sweden so I was very happy to get my hands on it.
