I did a quick Google. There was an auction for one recently on Ebay and it went for $12.99 Buy It Now. My 3rd edition of Star Wars Super Collectors Wishbook (2005) says $35 US. If you want to do some Googling the card number was 207 and it was a Topps Green card. That should get you a few hits.

    hi everyone!

i'm sorry if anyone has already asked this, but i searched both the boards and googled it, and came across nothing. so i was hoping one of you guys would know.

a friend of mine has a father who works in advertising. he promoted one of the first star wars-movies (not sure which one), and was able to get his hands on one of the original ewok costumes. so my question is, simply; how much would an original ewok costume be worth today?

    thanks!

That's hard to say. A lot depends on if your friend's father has some way to prove it's authentic, and what kind of condition it's in. If he does have proof, his best bet might be to contact a specialist film memorabilia auction house for a valuation. Normally we tell people to search Ebay for recent closed auctions for a ballpark valuation on figures, but I doubt that will work for you.

Even if he would have a hard time proving authenticity, an email or phone call couldn't hurt.

You could also try asking in our Costuming and Props forum here.

    Hi All
My names Lou and I usually am part of the film activities Forum but recently I have been on the fence about something and I need some helpful advice.
I have been feeling lately like I need to sell my entire collection and not really sure if it's even worth my time to list everything on Ebay ( which I hate, sorry power sellers)

I feel Ebay is more for the garage sale mentality and not the collector. For the past 15 years I have been slowly selling off my collection and some to even Mr. Seth Green of Chicken fame, (No Kidding!)
But in the last 3 years I have had another child and more room is needed and like Toy Story.
I have to make room, sigh worried

So I am asking if selling on Ebay is my only option or are there other fan based sights I can go and list my items and see if I can make at least what I paid and no more.?

Mostly everything is gone except for 12 inch line from star wars hasbro line and
a few of the sideshow. no japan exclusives sorry

20 of the rare Jedi 4 inch
and 10 different lightsabers including three I just got that I;ll be selling after I finish my third star wars film.

I have various artworks over the years and you can view what they look like here:
    http://www.pencilsandinks.com/list_artists.aspx?Letter=K

I dont know, my wife says to keep them . But I just dont know anymore, My friend of 15 years just got rid of everything on ebay at a fraction of the cost and I dont want to give these away. just what I paid for them.

    Thanks everyone,.

We don't allow advertising/selling here. There is a private Fan Force board where you can sell items but you have to be a Fan Force member and be vouched for by your Chapter Rep to gain entry. It doesn't get a lot of traffic though.

Rebelscum has selling and trading forums. You have to sign up to post but it's free. You might take a look over there.

If you have any collecting shows or conventions that are happening nearby, you might look into getting a selling table at one. If you have any friends interested in selling items maybe you could split the cost of a table.

If you have any items you think are really valuable, you could look into a toy auction at an auction house if any are fairly close by. I know here in the UK I occasionally see ads for them in London.

If you do go the Ebay route I'd split your items up. Don't put them all in one auction. You're more likely to get buyers that way.

I want to start up a Star Wars collection but don't know what I should collect. I already collect and read the novels and comics. I was thinking maybe of getting the RPG books for more EU resources.

As for action figures, I only have Walmart and TRU to choose from here. Same goes for Lego. Some of the Lego sets are super expensive, are they really worth the investment for fun? It seems that you put it together once and then it's over with.

I really like collecting cards. Too bad there isn't a TCG/CCG going right now. I may collect the Clone Wars cards though.

After a long hiatus from Star wars toys, the BMF has made me want to come back to the fold, at least to a degree.

I realise that there is a pack coming out that compliments the BMF set, including threepio, Artoo, Obi Wan, Luke and Leia. however, Im not sure if they'll be good versions or not, so I ask u here: What are the best versions of the lead characters currently out there. Im looking for somethign with a good mix of sculpt and articulation, ideally in their iconic costumes, though Han in his TESB jacket, Leia in her Cloud City clothes and Luke in his Black Jedi costume would be my preferences there.

I was also a big fan of the pilots and fighter craft. I know there is a B Wing (Dagger Squadron? I dont know what thats from...) and an A Wing coming out soon, and that the Y Wing was released not to long ago. Is there an Xwing, of the same type as Lukes Xwing, but without the blackened nosecone etc etc? And pilot wise: Are there newer better articulated versions of Wedge, Tycho, Janson and any of the other main pilots from the movies or the EU?

Thanks for the help all happy

Does anyone know if there's going to be a 12" figure for Darth Vader's secret apprentice from The Force Unleashed?
I love his design, and it's be great if I could add him to my every-growing collection of 12" figures.
