Yeah, the Clones are magnificient. I don't have any Stormies yet, but I'm probably gonna get the Snowtrooper, the Scout, and the Sergeant. I saw a Bikerscout auction end for less than 20 bucks a few days ago, so some of them are getting very affordable. Maybe a few years from now I'll be able to get a Sideshow Grievous for less than a hundred bucks!

Doubtful, those Sideshow Grievous are limited edition, unlike these things. LE collectibles should be going up in price, especially something like that awesome Grievous statute.

Are the droids out yet?

The droids look really good. I'm going to get them, but they're not at the top of my want list right now. I'll get them maybe next year sometime.

Yeah, same, too many minibusts, statues and maquettes on my want list for me to get these yet.

2006 wasn't the best year for Kotobukiya.

Sure there were some recent hits (Droids), and a few misses (Leia), but mostly I think SS's new 12" figures and even GG's statues have certainly stolen their Japanese thunder and diminished overall collector interest. Hard to say what the future will bring for this line.

How we haven't been offered a Sidious/Emperor Koto by now is troubling.

Agreed. Commander Bly was awesome and one of the best Kotos yet, but other than him the droids are the only other pieces I'm considering buying. Hopefully they have something good planned for '07.

Grievous and his bodyguards are just screaming to be made, Kotobukiya would do a great job with them.

I don't know too much abotu this line, but I do know that one of my favorite figures in the Darth Maul. It is incredible. His stance is awesome. I've been trying to findit for cheaper than $60.00. Still looking. happy

I actually prefer these for armoured figures; much rather have a GG product for a face sculpt but I love all the Koto trooper products. I'd love a Koto Grievous because I'm never going to get that Sideshow one.

I feel the same. Koto's troopers can't be beat, though their stormtrooper helmets need some work. I get GG and SS for my realistic face sculpt needs. grin I only have one human face Koto, and that's the Sith Anakin. It's OK and while I really liked it at first, over time I've come to wish I hadn't bought it, at least not for what I paid for it. Oh well, it looks pretty cool on my Anakin/Vader shelf.
