You can be certain of it  There should be a MR version as well as a FX one with an illuminated blade.
This will be one of the big selling lightsabres of 2005 !!!

They'll probably release an MR saber replica of most of the ones in ROTS, but I'm not so certain about the FX sabers. I mean, to date, they still have not created an Obi Wan FX saber (a necessity in my opinion), or a Dooku FX saber. So, don't hold your breath on the FX.
Now, I cannot wait to see what MR sabers they come up with.

Based on what was being said in the aforementioned "redundant thread", I hate to inform those curious about the picture of the Anakin figure that is circulating that action features may actually return for the beginning of this line. If the packaging we saw for Greivous is any indication, the bad General will have an action feature, which makes sense really.

I believe the current buzz from Hasbro is that the ROTS line will be split into two collections.
The first will have action features, the second will have increased articulation and detail.
Similar to the AOTC line...except there the second collection had dramatic poses instead of articulation.

I'll probably stick with the non action feature collection myself too.
I'm scared if they do Padme. they hardly get some of the figs right what are they going to do now that shes Pregnant?

I've already got in mind the figs I would like to get. Obi Wan, Anakin/Vader, Bail Organa, Yoda, Mace, maybe a Padme (depending on what they do), some Clones/Stormtroopers and General G. Those are the main ones right now.
Hopefully all of the other minor characters will be killed off by then.

Just saw the first carded images of 4 RotS figures
(On eBay, as well as Galactichunter.com, and
Rebelscum.com) hey show Tion and R4 (Preview) and
Mace and Obi from the first wave.
I didn't really like the fist RotS carded image that appeared online back in July/Aug, but it looks
MUCH better with the figure inside. It also appears
that they darkened the flames, making them red instead
of yellow, as they were in the sample I first saw.
I have to say I have done a 180 on these now. I
still don't think they're better than the OTC, but
they are, IMHO, better than the AOTC/Saga cards.
On the downside, they all seem to say 'SLASHING ACTION'
whichs means they have 'Action features' Ugh.
