There are reports over at www.galactichunter.com of the Episode III Preview figures being found at a Los Angeles area Wal-Mart for $5.88 each. Be on the lookout!

I think I will wait to see the finished figure on this one - I am not that crazy about the pose. He almost looks like he is surfing...

So that's what Spider-Man 3 is going to be about. laugh silly

Sorry, the pose just really sparked that image for me. I think they could have done so much better in selecting a pose. But, this is just a prototype, so maybe it will look better when done.

I think he'll look a little less like he's "surfing" once he's actually been given lightsaber blades.

Overall I'm happy with it though. I would've rather he had a cape...but since he's incomplete maybe he will anyway. Looking forward to seeing the finished product.


On a complete sidenote (correct me if I'm wrong, but) I think this is the first time we've actually seen Grievous with his arms split.

Their naming system for this line really bugs me...

(Assuming those last two are Clones, as I'm sure they are, why aren't they named as such? Looking at it the other way, couldn't it be "ARC-170 Pilot" instead?)

...it just seems really inconsistent to me. It is as if they didn't bother to proofread or something.

In addition to that I suppose I have a problem with two figures in the same line sharing the same name but numbered differently. Perhaps Saga spoiled me in that regard.

All that said, the line-up looks fantastic, plenty of Clones in my future.


EDIT: Also, couldn't the poor Mon Calamari get a name?

I'm not one who would really know, but shouldn't Anakin be #1 and Obi-Wan #2? I mean, this movie is mainly about Anakin. I don't understand why Hasbro numbers their figures so oddly.

Also... that list just might not be a finalized list. I remember seeing a carded sample of Emperor Palpatine, but there's no such name in that list.
