You guys are tempting me to take a trip over to Wal-Mart.
They didn't have anything yesterday, and I'll probably wait 'til the morning, since stores around here seem to restock on Thursdays, and as mentioned, it will be morning.

hey deltau922, where in KC did you find the preview figures? i hit wal-mart on Barry Rd., and all they had left was grievous and the wookiee.
That's where I got Grevious. I was there the other nightm and they only had 6 Wookiees.
If you can, head over to the Liberty Supercenter. Look down the eisles going down along the bikes. The RotS figs are at the top in the first row.

The Wal-Mart in Gladstone had a few left on Sunday. I got the other three there. They may have restocked, so you might want to check there.

Hmm. I live not far off of Barry Rd, so those three Wal-mart's and the Target on Barry are the only places I've been. As of Monday, Target had nothing.

GalacticHunter.com comes through again:
ROTS Aayla Secura card front
ROTS Aayla Secura card back
Both this and the other figures pictured on the back of the card look great! I can't wait to get my hands on these!

Thanks for the heads up on that one, LetoQuorme.
She's hawt... no doubts there. That's a must-have.Her base looks awesome. And the figures on the back do look superb, from what I can make out on them.
However, that looks like the same Yoda that came with the youngling during Saga.

And I'm glad I did.
Wal-Mart had all four previews, so I got General Grievous, Wookie Warrior, and Tion Medon. I'm about to open the first two. I must say that these preview figures are much more impressive than the AOTC ones.

my new opening technique is unstoppable
After coming across (and picking up) the Sneak Preview wave last night I have a confession to make.
I really, really like the new packaging.
This is a bit of a surprise because when it was released I absolutely hated it. The colors were bright and garish, Vader's mask looked silly, the taped together backs looked like a nightmare to open, and the whole thing just looked too freakin' big. I thought these things were going to stick out like a sore thumb on the shelves...calling attention to the product, no doubt, but not in any sort of good way.
Thankfully up close and personal it turns out the cards are no bigger than the OTC/Saga line in reality...and actually slimmer in depth. The colors are vibrant but not over the top. The Vader mask motif is much more subtle than I could have imagined. Most importantly for an opener, however, once you've found the proper opening technique* it's quick and easy to free the figure from it's plastic prison...which very good news considering how many figures I'll want to open at once when April rolls around.
The packaging is also blissfully free of the mortal enemies of the opener...twist-ties and clear rubberbands.
Overall, it's a winner...unexpectedly so.
* - I reccomend folding back the top half of the cardback onto itself, ripping open the front sealed part in the process. Once that's done just grab the inner tray and pull up (takes just a bit of force) and the toy is yours. No fussing with the tape at all. The downside of course is that the card will be completely ruined in the process.

The packaging is pretty cool. I was kinda the same at first, thinking that it wasn't as cool as the OTC, and it isn't, but it's not so bad after all.
I'm having a heck of a time getting Grievous to stand with his cape. I'm trying to decide if the Wookie is worth opening. What say you, darc?
Edit: About the two lightsaber thing with Grievous... the pamphlet inside the preview figures shows the General, and it says "with two lightsabers." Maybe at one time he was going to come with two, then they scrapped that.

I say the Wookie is most certainly worth opening...just to appreciate what Hasbro has done with the figure.
Excellent articulation, a great ability to customize (this thing is an army builder's dream), and to top it all off the thing's just freakin' massive. The only downsides to the figure are that his joints seem a little loose and he can be hard to stand up in some poses due to his weight.
As for the General...I think everyone's having the same trouble standing him up with the cape. Without it he has no issues at all (and looks rather good). The only poses I can get with the cape on look awkward though.

Telling you guys, trim a little off the cape. You wont even notice the change. Cut it so its just above his claw feet. Mine worked out great.

No, k-3po, I'm not going to cut the General's cape.
So... I opened the Wookie Warrior. Mighty nice, but I can't get the helmet back on.
