Cool! Those RotS cards and bubble sure look better
with some figures in them.
Rebelscum also had a Hasbro promotional flier with
a slightly better picture of Anakin's Starfighter
and what looks like GG's buzzsaw type vehicle. Cool
stuff.
As for BK, that's just great. It didn't seem like SW
last time without a FF tie-in. And they're including
OT characters! It's a good thing I like BK. If they
were at Hardee's, I might have to pass.
in the past, some stores have let me buy the toys without buying a meal. does anyone know if that is common practice?
I bought those LOTR glass goblets without eating
a single Whopper. I think they were a $1 with a
meal purchase, and $2 without.
Something just seems intrinsically wrong about a squirting Jar Jar toy.
LOL!
In a semi-related story, anyone catch the new Clone
wars figures at the Hasbro website? And here I thought
I was going to have a few months to catch up on some
vintage SW collecting. Sheesh!

Can anyone tell me why he has a regular Animated green lightsaber, but a basic figure blue lightsaber? Surely it can't be a work in progress. 
Edit: I'm referring to the image of the good General.

Thank you...something looked odd about that shot but I couldn't put my finger on it.
It could just be an odd angle, the flared out bits at the bottom of the blade could be sticking out directly toward and away from the camera...giving the impression of a flat "basic figure" style saber.

No, no... it is a basic figure lightsaber. It has that bulb at the base of the blade, and as you can see, the blade itself is significantly thicker than the other lightsaber. Click on Grievous for a bigger image.

Galactichunter.com has new scans of several of the
front and backs of the RotS figures/cards, including
Chewbacca. These are much better in terms of clarity
and you can now read the little bios on the back.

2005 should definitely a good year to be a wookiee!
EDIT: i'm kinda ashamed...despite my name, i'm not that big of a wookie fan. don't get me wrong--i like wookies a whole lot, but the name was just something silly i thought of during my lunch break.

I can relate about the name, rebelwookie. If I could change mine I would, but the only way to do that is to register a new name and pretty much start over... lose my history, post count, and reputation.
Anyhow, those figures look sweet! I can't wait to see those on clearance at K*B Toys stores, providing that their still in existence.
Gosh, I really want a Palpatine figure. If I can get him and Grievous I'll be happy. Since when did Chewbacca have yellow fur? I think I'm going to go ahead and get the VotC version if that's the case... at least for the sake of opening. I like how each figure seems to have ball-jointed shoulders! My favorite!

The VOTC version's , are very nice I will open all mine as soon as i have room!!!
Now are the New ROTS figs going to have all the some joints? as VOTC?

Probably less, Kenneth. The VOTCs were special not only because of their packaging, but because of all the extra articulation that the average figure doesn't have.
I'm sure we'll see more articulation with the RotS figures than we did with the AotC figures, however. It looks like it from those pictures.
