I am not completely getting my hopes up on their price. I think the stores can vary a tad. I am thinking they will be around 550. I hope i am wrong of course the prices on their site are hard to beat for sure.

I saw the ROTS M&Ms at Wal-Mart... the big bags. There was milk chocolate and dark chocolate with peanut... but no plain dark chocolate. They looked really cool.

I just bought clone trooper, darth vader, anakin, and obi-wan. Is it just me or don't the designers play with the figures? I'm having a hard time posing them. This happened last time with aotc toys. I liked it when they included stands for the phantom menace!

I think they usually have kids test them (I tested for Mattel once as a child). I'm not sure upon what basis they decide if they pass or not, but I guess they can't please everyone.
April 2nd came out here (obviously), and the EIII blitz hit Wal-Mart. I caved in and bought about 7 of the guys who looked the least like characters from the previous lines (some who's first appearance is ROTS). The run of figures that appeared at Wal-Mart looked much better than the ones that K-Mart had stocked...and they were much much cheaper too. Also glad to see that they released some of the early "Galactic Heroes" figures along with the ones for ROTS...thought I was going to have to buy them online...
If it's stands you want, a lot of toy magazines or specialty shops sell packs of small rectangular plastic stands specifically designed for SW figures. You can get clear ones too if you want. I guess that doesn't help much if you're having trouble with the arms, though...
Very excited about ROTS again...the figure line was much less dissapointing than I expected...I'm glad to be proven wrong for once...*lol*

I have a question about the checklist(s). The big picture in the back of the latest Insider with the checklist disagrees with the checklist on the back of the booklets that come with Unleashed figures. Different figures and numbers for some of the things starting at #37. Which is right?

They should have an Anakin figure where they just took him out of the lava. He'd be all brunt up , and melted. Might be kinda gorey! But I'd sure buy it!

I plan to make my own...by buying a spare Anakin and taking a lighter to him...I doubt it will have much universal appeal, though...
What I really hope they DON'T do this time around is what they did with the Jedi council and seperatist characters last time - bunch them into four seperate three-packs that I can't afford to buy and not selling them individually as well. I'm usually pretty broke, and lucky to pick up one or two figures at a time. The only place I saw those three packs was at Target an hour away from where I live, and I never had the money to buy them at the time. They offer us figures of the scanning crew from ANH who show up for like five seconds, but they don't think we'd rather have some of these much cooler figures from the three packs available to buy individually? Of course, with the Trilogy collection as it was, they might run out of minor characters to produce down the road, and maybe a San Hill or Poggle the Lesser or some of those other guys will show up on the pegs down the road. Of course, some of them might make an appearance in the ROTS line as well...I'm not very familiar with their long term plans for the figures...

Figure #50 is the burnt Anakin. Remove his cloak and he is freddy krueger style.

You have a link to a picture of that figure by any chance? I can find it listed online, but there's just stupid question marks by that one...I did get a chance to see some of the figures I hadn't seen before on the "pre-order" lists. I'm guessing General Grievous explodes since one of the Grievous figures has "exploding body" action...

Need an answer:
I went to walmart on april 2nd. didnt find much of anything. Just basic anikans and stuff. Went on april 3rd, and the walmart guy was stocking the shelves. We talked, then me and him went through all the boxes looking for the ones i wanted. The only really rare ones i found was 1 Red Guard, 1 Blue Guard, 1 Palps, and 2 Dooku's. Is this bout the same everywhere???
I wanted a Clone Commander, and a pilot but those werent in any of the 20 boxes we searched.
Is the dooku kinna rare???

kidwehatethemost...Dookus are going fast in some areas...as are Blue and/or Red Guards. After the next few weeks they should be easier to find.
The Clone Commander & Pilot are in a different assortment than the first figures. It's possible your Wal-Mart hasn't gotten any yet at all. Most stores in my area only have up to either figure #28 or #32...and the Commander is #33. So I haven't seen them yet either. They will be coming soon, though, so just be patient.

Wow...Anakin has seen better days...no wonder the movie's not a PG flick...now, is that figure actually two figures packaged together? I don't quite get how they pull that off. Looks about like if I'd taken a lighter to an Anakin figure though...
When I first hit the stores, Dookus were not difficult to find...there was a Palp who looked like the Supreme Chancellor there too who I can't seem to find now (even though there is easily 10 times as many figures on the shelves now). So far, I haven't figured out which figures are the ones that will be hardest to find or vanish from the pegs first. At my local Wal-Mart, it's pretty easy to find all of the ones I know of still...except for the ROTS Darth Vader figure. I'm not really looking for that one too hard right now, though...I've got more Vaders I've collected since the early 90's than I can shake a saber at...he doesn't usually change that much...

now, is that figure actually two figures packaged together?
It looks like the cloak and his front (unburned) clothes are one piece that slides over the top of him...so that would explain it. His head and arms are probably interchangable.
So Anakin in his original state is actually the burned body with a different head and accessories covering him up.
