I heard that this and the Obi-Wan version come with
interlocking bases. Anyone else hear that?

Wow, who's that handsome fella above me? The good
folks over at galactichunter.com have a picture of the lizard
that Obi-Wan rides in the movie. Not sure what I think
about Obi riding a CG lizard, but this toy looks pretty
darn cool! (In a Jurassic Park sort of way).

That lizard looks tight. I forget what they're called... is it a borg?
I didn't expect to see that Chancellor Palpatine in Sith-esque robes they posted a couple days back. It looks really cool, though. And the fact that he has a lightsaber interests me.

I believe it is called a Barg.
As for Palpidious figure, I reckon it's got one of those lame "swivel-head" actions. One side of the head is Palpatine, then you turn it in a semi-Excorcist move to reveal the Sidious face. I think that's the only explanation for the large gaps in the hood.

Barg! That's the one.
About the Palps figure... the first ROTS "Emperor Palpatine," as he is called, doesn't have the same outfit as this new Chancellor figure. So I don't think it's the same one.

On the little blurbs about the legos, at the bottom they always have this: ETA 04/05. £24.99/€39.99/$29.99
Which of the prices are the ones that they will cost in America? And is 04/05 the release date?

i agree. i'm cautiously optimistic about ROTS. i really want to love it. i liked TPM. i loved AOTC for a while, but got bored with it. i'm hoping this movie cures the prequel burnout that i've been feeling lately.
