I know!!!...I just got to choose another saber of my choice and I told him just me the ROTS Obi-Wan...since I wanted that one too.

Ya know, I'm not much for the prequels, but after looking at the Ep III Obi, I'm thinking I may need to find a way to snag the full size one.

Well, I have to say I was a collector of these, had 10 at one point, including all the Obi-Wan's except the ROTS gold and C3 ROTS variant, but I've gotten more into collecting full-size sabers.  I'm thinking of only keeping the Obi-Wan ROTS and pairing it with my full-size ANH weathered.
Also, I'm dissappointed how the gold variants have lost their demand, I was thrilled to have a Ep4 Vader gold turn up the day I found it but now that I'm ready to let go of it I can barely get what I paid.

I wish I could afford to $300 and some on a collectible, but I promised myself the most I would ever spend on one piece would be $200.
Maybe if I had a better paying job where $350 is chump change until then....minis are just fine with me. Plus they take up less room, which allows me to get more statues.

Actually, I used the Vader FX and the blade removal process for my Vader (less than $45 total by buying one with a damaged blade) and my Obi-Wan is an fan-made one from a few years back for just over $110. It's not 100% accurate but for that much less than an MR Obi-Wan ANH weathered I'm ok with that. I used to have the MR and, IMO, the extra money wasn't worth it for the minor differences like the tiny holes in the emitter and the fins inside the vane...

Well now they have some LE sabers at about $280...But the new CE sabers like the Qui_Gon are going for about $170.
This is good if you want a full size saber for decent price...If they release a ROTJ Luke or ANH Obi CE I'm going to need to be all over that...
Anyway: When is the Qui-Gon .45 suppose to be released?
