Yes, that's not the 12" one though. That's the Premium Format and a whole hell lot more expensive.

Whoa, he actually sold out already? I wasn't expecting that with all the whining and complaining I read.
I'm meh on him... I like the figure for being an Imperial Officer, but it really does make you go, "Who?" I ordered him, but I might cancel later.

Leia arrived yesterday. I'm really disappointed with her dress.  I'm plannnig to make a new one for her but it's frustrating when I look at how lovely the clothes on my other Sideshow dolls look in comparison to her's. ugh.

I think I'm still undecided on her likeness. Yes, it looks like her but I guess I would have preferred it if her features were a bit more feminine/delicate...? I don't know. *shrug*
Here are some pictures of my doll:
Take a look at the area where her collar should connect to the neckline of her dress. It doesn't. You can see 'skin' in between. I hate this.

Her dress is wrinkly and the seams inside her sleeves are unfinished. I didn't expect french seams, but this looks terrible when you can see up her sleeve.

I hate to complain because I've never been unhappy with a Sideshow product prior to this. Maybe it's because I'm a costumer that I'm nitpicky over her dress. *shrug* Her boots are awesome though.

I'd email them and give them links to those pictures. Ask them if that's how the figure's costume is supposed to look or question them that maybe you got a bad costume? It certainly can't hurt.

Thanks Laj, that is a good idea.  I really would like to know if the neckline is just the way they produced them or an error. I can't see any visible stitching line that came undone, so perhaps it's just the way it was designed. I *think* the neckline is supposed to be tucked up underneath the collar, but the collar is so tight that I can't get it to do that.
At least I know I'll have fun trying to make her a new dress out of better fabric.

I hadn't had a chance to open my Leia yet, but after seeing those pics I promptly did so. And mine is the same way. 
With all of these that I've purchased, I'd really hate to return Leia of all characters, but this is reallyreally poor design. And her nose seems HUGE.
I dunno...

My Leia is the same way. The likeness on the face is fine, although the head is a little out of proportion. But the finishing on the dress is poor. Sideshow will need to get its act together if it's going to attempt a Bespin Leia or any of Padmé's/Queen Amidala's gowns in the future.

wow I see what you all are talking about on the neckline. That IS pretty poor. And her nose does look a bit big. But I can't complain too much. At least they went to the effort to make another Leia doll.
