Well, after thinking it over I've decided to return my Leia doll.  I just don't like her enough to keep her. It's really disappointing.
I think the Han Solo looks really good but I'll pass. I just want a girl SW doll that's pretty.

Sorry to hear that you had to return the doll. I get mine tomorrow. I just hope that it turns out better than the Mynock Han Solo they did. Is it just me or were you more excited about the portrait edition dolls from hasbro? I miss that line! At least Padme and Leia were good likenesses and clothes were wonderful.

Yeah, I do like the portrait edition line Hasbro did of Amidala better. 
I did get this response from Sideshow about Leia's collar: We wanted to follow up with you regarding your 12” Leia Ep IV Exclusive. All necklines for this item are meant to be covered by the collar or tucked into the dress. As such, the item was made to look this way.
I couldn't get the dress to fit up under the collar because the collar is too tight. Oh well. *shrug* Beyond her dress, I'm not terribly in love with the likeness either. So, back she goes. I'm sure other people will think she's grand, and that's good.

Yup, got mine. I haven't taken him all of the way out of the box, as I don't have a place to put him ATM, but he looks quite fantastic! There's one costume nitpick I can make, but nothing that's distracting like the issues with Leia. The sculpt is as good in person as it is in the photos!!!

Has anyone in the UK recieved their Obi Wan yet? I ordered mine from forbidden planet and still no sign of him. I've tried calling a few times too but nothing so far...just rings out.

Was it Forbidden Planet (as in the one with the London megastore) or Forbidden Planet International? I had problems with FPI a few years ago with an order and I won't order from them again. I tried to get them over Christmas and it turned out their offices were closed between Christmas and New Years. If it's the latter one I'd give them another try Monday.

I got the 12" SS Obi Wan last night and it exceeded my expectations. I'll take some pics of poses and looks it can do this weekend. The detail on this one for the price is well worth it.
