jf9 - you're not alone in complaining about FPI. Someone posted over in this thread on Rebelscum about having a similar problem to yours, only with Sideshow ANH Leia.

Thanks for that LAJ, popped over and had a look. Reassuring I'm not the only one, and leia was the figure released before Obi Wan!
Also nice to see That Woody mentions they have slight time delay to getting them over here. Like I said, suppose I got to be patient.

Hello everyone. I've been gone for quite a while, I haven't had the money for Sideshow goodies and I didn't want to tempt myself. I see that the Snowbunny Padme is no longer available, but I'm not too impressed with the prototype. Anyone know if a lot of changes were made to her? I was looking forward to her so much, but I think her costume looks a little cheap.

I'm glad you finally got it..was it worth the wait?
Just a note for EU shoppers - I got the weekly email and Sideshow's EU warehouse will be closed next week to upgrade their software. So if you've ordered anything due to ship next week in the UK or Europe it will probably be delayed.

Was definately worth the wait LAJ, better than I expected. Has to be in the top 3 star wars collectibles I own (along with my signed darth vader don post helmet by james earl jones, Hayden and dave prowse and my vinyl caped jawa!)

A lot of people are wondering about that too. They haven't shown any new pictures yet. But my Bronze Dooku/Yoda is set to arive on Thursday.

Rebelscum are reporting that the upcoming regular edition Palpatine/Sidious figures will be limited to 2000. Hit the link for the full story and a pic.
Edit - it's confusing though. If you click on the pic link it takes you to Sideshow's website and shows a limit of 3000 with it already sold out.

I got one ordered today... was a pain in the rear and finally ditched the PC and just called them. But I got one. Limited to 1,500. Looks pretty cool to me.

I just received an email from Sideshow that the Scout trooper and speerbike will be shipping in 5-7 days. It is just my luck that this item is shipping earlier than expected and now I am running around trying to find enough money to cover the bill.

I got my Ilum Padmé today.
It looks like Padmé has hit the tanning salons before going off on her mission and she has an expression on her face that looks like she found Anakin's dirty laundry tossed all over the floor. But she seems a little bit more youthful than the original sculpt I saw at Comic Con last summer and the costume is better constructed than the ANH Leia, that's for sure. All in all a nice figure. Now give me Padmé in her beautiful gowns!
